Photos

It's been a while since I posted some photos so here are a few of work and play.

  • Work: Getting trash off Loggerhead Key and Garden Key is always an endeavor. For Garden Key, we load it all on the park service vessel, haul it to Key West, unload it from the park service vessel into a truck and then haul it to the dump. From Loggerhead, we airlifted the trash using helicopters! Take a look!
  • Work: It's a huge birding migration area, especially on Bush Key. I headed there one day with a renown researcher. See some of the birds.

So with all these wonderful warm water fish, what have been your favorite recipes? BBQ's? Is all your food mail order from the Key West stores? It's another beautiful day in the 70's here in Juneau, we've had an amazing Spring so far! Miss you guys!

Wow, do we miss Alaska! Can't wait till our Kodiak vacation July 26-Aug 10. The fish here have been great ... I think my favorite is the mutton snapper. Sure helps out on the groceries ... which we stock up on when we're in Key West...just like we would do when we were in Juneau.
