Tasha...

my sweet, sweet husky dog, has died after almost 16 happy, fun-filled years.

I was so looking forward to seeing her next week.

I am heartsick and overwhelmed with grief.

To get a small sense of her great spirit, watch her sing happy birthday.

Somewhere there is a snowy meadow where she runs free of care. All suffering ends. May your grief also encompass rejoicing for her, she has cast off this mortal coil and found peace. My heart goes out to you, what a loss... she was an angel of a dog.

Karen,

So sorry to hear about Tasha. I can only imagine how saddened you are by the passing of your dear friend. Hold tight to the memories and she will be with you always.

Hugs,

My nephew Jesse summed it up many years ago when he said, "Tasha is just happy to be." And she really was! Always happy, friendly, exuberant and good to go! Here are some nice things people have been saying about her:

"Tasha was a real sweetie ... she had a lot of years of being loved and playing in the snow."

"She was a good dog."

"We really liked Tasha."

"That was a good dog."

"I enjoyed the limited time I spent with her ... and I will think of her with nothing but good thoughts."
